Amazing Home on 20 Acres in the Heart of Nature
Eureka, Montana

Located just five miles south of the Canadian Port of Entry at Roosville in the heart of the Tobacco Valley, you’ll find Eureka in a wide, grassy plain nestled between two mountain ranges and the banks of the scenic Tobacco River. This spectacular corner of Northwest Montana also boasts the state’s mildest climate, not to mention some of the most diverse scenery, from short grass plains to high country virgin old-growth conifer forests. There’s no shortage of native wildlife either; moose, elk, deer, bears, wolves, coyotes, turkeys and bald eagles.

With a population of 1100 (5423 for the entire Tobacco Valley), Eureka is a friendly sort of place. It’s a town where people wave at complete strangers on the street and say “hello.” (Not that you’ll be a stranger for very long in Eureka.) Most of the buildings that line Main Street date from the turn of the 20th Century. However, the majority of the original merchants who set up shop there have long since given way to art galleries, gift shops, cafes, movie theaters, and restaurants.

Eureka is in Lincoln County, 75 miles from the world-renowned Glacier National Park and 65 miles from Kalispell, home of Glacier International Airport. Eureka is situated 50 miles from both Whitefish Mountain Resort at Big Mountain, Whitefish and Fernie Ski Resort in British Columbia, Canada. The economy is supported by the timber industry, ranching, and tourism. Only 11% of Lincoln County is privately owned, the rest is public lands available for fishing, hunting, and hiking.
